With two new commercial opportunities

The plans seek to revive the much-loved Oasis through refurbishment and restoration of the iconic dome structure. The investment required for this will be unlocked by the proposed regeneration of the wider area.

As part of a mixed-use masterplan, outline plans have been set out to deliver up to 710 new homes, public realm, and other amenities as part of a new neighbourhood with Oasis at its heart. By creating a dynamic new place, we will unlock the opportunity to restore the Oasis and see this treasured local asset become a place Swindon can once again be proud of.

Before a planning application is submitted, a public consultation has been launched to offer the local community an opportunity to see and comment on the plans.

Please consult the information on this website ahead of providing comments via the Your Feedback page.

An exhibition event has also been arranged for Tuesday 26th November at the Swindon and Wiltshire Institute of Technology, North Star Avenue, Swindon, SN2 1DY, between 1pm and 7pm. This event will be open to the public.
